It took a little time and a bit of experimentation with cleaning tools and products, but I finally discovered how to attain lasting shine on my hardwood floors. I must forewarn you though…it is a bit of a tedious process, but the results are g-o-r-g-e-o-u-s! Not only do the floors look amazing, they stay that way for quite some time too. It truly is the perfect cleaning regimen…especially for special celebrations and family gatherings.
After a thorough sweep and spot cleaning the little paw tracks our fur-babies leave behind, I use a Swiffer Wet Mop to pick up any remaining dog hair, dust or dirt. Then, I use a Shark Genius Steam Mop with Holloway House Quick Shine. The results are absolutely a-m-a-z-i-n-g! Try it out for yourself…you will be pleasantly surprised. I sure was, and if you happen to have little birds still in your nest, this is a great task to garner their help. Our little birds always seem a little more interested in helping when the tasks include nifty little gadgets.
